Super excited and happy. Massive thank you to Charlie and all his crew for putting on the event this weekend, I know everyone has a great time everytime they go there. Elliott Boots took victory at the CML supported Pro-Line event held at the track where he is always dangerously dominant; Westmill. With the annual event usually held at the Remote World track in Slough, with the venues in Slough used for the Olympics and Paralympics organisers shifted the race to the Herts club. Qualifying saw Boots TQ the first of three rounds, the fourth going to Pro-Line driver Ryan Cavalieri, attending the event in support of his sponsors, the end result mirrored qualifying with Cav 2nd, Willetts qualifying 3rd ran into problems in the main and was unable to finish. Flying Finnisher JQ though would come home in 3rd. The truggy final was won by Jon Hazlewood, Jon Howells 2nd and young Callum Niblett 3rd. Thanks to Tony Truman for the photos.

Mid-South 4wd Regional Report (Torch Racing)

Sunday the of 29th July saw round 4 of the Mid South regions 4 wheel drive series land at TORCH. This was the club's second regional of the year, after the highly successful 2 wheel drive event earlier in the year. The track had seen and evolution in design since the earlier event to ensure that returning drivers were fully entertained.
The day started out bright and dry, with early practice being a chance to sort out tyre choice, and trim some pins as needed to sort out the grip. Next up was drivers briefing from TORCH chairman Steve Brown, and it was at this point mother nature chose to play her first (but sadly not last) joker. As the breifing came to an end the sky clouded and a light drizzle set in, which quickly turned into a deluge of almost biblical proportions as racers returned to the pits. There w

KEV LEE REPORT FROM 2012 4WD REGIONAL AT SHCC

• Surrey and Hants is a tight and challenging Astroturf track my KYOSHO LAZER FS2SP was well prepared and I was looking forward to another great race with it.
• It started wet so the tyre of choice was ballistic buggy greens but it dried by round 3 where I found Schumacher yellow spikes worked well. Some people opted for pins and although they looked good, I chose to stay on spikes.
• I took all 4 rounds of qualifying which put me 1st on the grid in the A main.
• I won all 3 legs without any issues so was very happy to have got a clean sweep for the day.
• This result means I have won the 2wd and 4wd mid south regional championship with maximum points of 303 in each class.
• I'm very happy with both Kyosho cars right now and look forward to the rest of the year.
