After the surprise news of his switch from RB to Novarossi power, some news that many would have seen coming for a while...

2012 Sponsors: Kyosho, Novarossi, JConcepts, LRP, Sanwa, Ultimate Racing, SMD, Ghea racing, Racing Experience Fuel, Maugrafix, MR33, Nibbo Designs
Having run the MP9 for sometime towards the end of the 2011 season as a privateer, the deal is now done with Elliott Boots that sees him join the Kyosho International team as a fully fledged factory driver.
Whilst results during the short time driving the Kyosho have been very promising Boots parted ways with former chassis sponsor Team Durango with a pretty solid season of results, his Euros performance the highlight despite having to retire early.

His unique aggressive driving style has won him many fans, never afraid to push a car to it's limits he was perhaps never completely comfortable with the pin point precision handling DNX408. In a Durango->Kyosho move that mirrors that of Kyle McBride, Boots unlike McBride has past history with the Red Samurai team - the evergreen Kyosho mastermind Mike Cradock originally picking him up to race for the UK team back in '06, after a few years spent in the wilderness with Team Associated, Mugen & Durango Boots is back where he belongs.

Over the busy New Year period we met up with Boots & Co for the slightly secretive shoot of his 2012 chassis & engine switch, below is the video with a bit of action and a Q&A with the man himself Elliott Boots. Please watch! Some of our best video work so far! Special thanks to Chris & Elliott, Mike, Neil, FDL Kyosho & Novarossi!
